Downey Mildew

It appears we have been cursed by downey mildew again.  The recent rainy conditions, followed by high humidity has encouraged the spores to start growing. Spraying with Dithane, available from the shed is your only defence.

I have also read an article that suggest that the spores can remain in the soil for up to to four years, crop rotation is important in keeping this disease at bay.
